What is Cranial Groove?

Cranial Groove is the brainchild of Mike and Amy, two aging middle class Gen X misfits living in Central New York. We use podcasting as a creative outlet to unpack topics relevant to us and our generation. 

We’re not experts or authorities, nor do we claim to speak for all of Gen X.  We’re just a married couple who grew tired of head/fist shaking in the isolation of our own home while reading the headlines and grappling with our own mortality. So we decided to join the podcast sphere and set up a studio in our dining room (because who in our generation ever uses their dining room?). 

May our content find other aging Gen X misfits out there.  Think Christian Slater in “Pump Up the Volume.”  But a little more seasoned.  A little less vexed.  Went to college instead of going to jail. Now holding down a 9 to 5.  In bed by 9pm.  (And hopefully the feds aren’t coming to ruin the party.)
